Ayer vino Chris a cenar a casa. Preparamos una cena típica española. Hicimos unas tapas de sobrasada con brie y otras de paté, champis con jamón, unas papas bravas, ensalada de atún con pimientos rojos y olivas rellenas,....todo ello regado con un Rioja Reserva del 2003 que trajo Chris. Lo único inglés fue el postre: strawberry eton mess (tarta de fresas con nata y merengue) mmm!!!
Después, con la tripa algo más que llena, salimos a tomar algo.Fuimos a un club que se llama Saltwater, tiene una terraza muy grande con calentadores y vistas a la ciudad.
Nos lo pasamos muy bien, así que tenemos que repetirlo!!!
Yesterday, we invited Chris for dinner at home.We prepared a typical Spanish supper. We cooked some tapas with sobrasada (similar to chorizo but spreadable) and brie, pate, mushrooms with ham, papas bravas and tuna salad with red pepers and olives,...all that with a marvelous red Rioja Reserva 2003 that Crish brought. The desert was the only English recipe: strawberry eton mess (meringue blended with whipped dairy cream and strawberry sauce and topped with strawberry halves) mmmm!!!
Later, with our full bellies, we went out. We went to a club called Saltwater, wich has a huge terrace with heating and views over the city.
It was fun, so we need to do it again!!!
