Zaragoza EXPO 2008
No podiamos dejar pasar la oportunidad de decir que este año ha sido el lanzamiento internacional de Zaragoza con la EXPO 2008. El tema era suficientemente importante para que le demos un poco al coco, el desarrollo sostenible y el agua. Aunque nosotros no hemos podido disfrutarlo mucho, seguro que ha sido un acontecimiento memorable y que ha cambiado nuestra querida ciudad natal. Sólo pudimos pasar dos días en el recinto de la EXPO, pero nos encanto. Como siempre, unas fotillos en el link de picasa.
We cannot miss the opportunity to mention that this year has been an important year for our city, Zaragoza. It has gain international recognition for organizing an international exhibition, which was dedicated to the water and sustainable development. Although we could not enjoy at a great extent, we are sure it was a memorable event, changing the layout and feeling of Zaragoza and its citizens. We only spent two days in the area, but we loved it and we'll be back. In fact it is only 5 min walking from Maria's parents' house. As usual more photos in our picasa link.

Nuestros queridos amigos de La Horra nos prepararon una despedida de solteros por sorpresa. Duró menos de lo que todos esperabamos pero nos lo pasamos muy bien y os podemos asegurar que nunca, pero nunca la olvidaremos. Muchas gracias a todos!!! Si quereis ver como acabamos ir al link de fotos.
Our dear friends from La Horra prepared our joint stag and hen night. It lasted less that we expected but we had fun and we can assure you that we never and never forget it. Thanks a lot!! To see how we ended up go to the link in picasa.
Marie Curie Conference in Barcelona
A mediados de Julio fuimos a Barcelona donde Cesar tenia una conferencia. Cesar estuvo 5 dias y yo fui el fin de semana aunque algo accidentada. Alli estuvimos unas horas con nuestros amigos de Zaragoza ya que habian ido al Summercase Festival. Os dejamos con unas fotos.
In mid-July we went to Barcelona because Cesar had a conference there. Cesar was 5 days and I came along for the weekend since I was in Zaragoza, although I was a bit injured. There, we spent some hours with our friends from Zaragoza. They went to the Summercase Festival which took place there as well. Please have a look to the pictures in picasa.

Felicidades cariño!!! que mayor eres ya!! has llegado a los 30, pero no te preocupes que eres como los buenos vinos que maduran y mejoran con los años ;) Para celebrarlo salimos por ahi con nuestros amigos al Sir John y al Salt and Water. Nos lo pasamos muy bien y esperamos que cumplas muchos más!!!
Congratulations my love!! you are 30 years old!!! but do not worry because you are as the good wines which improve with years ;) To celebrate we went out with our friends to the Sir John and the Salt and Water. We had fun and I wish you all the best and many many years!!
Y en Junio Cesar se fue a Australia a una conferencia. Primero estuvo en Sydney y luego pasó unos días en Melbourne. Además de poder visitar estas dos ciudades, recorrieron la Great Ocean Road y acabaron en los Doce Apostoles. Si quereis ver más fotos están en el link de picasa. In June Cesar went to Australia for a conference. First he was in Sydney and then he spent a few days in Melbourne. Apart from visiting both cities he also drove the Great Ocean Road, finishing at the Twelve Apostols. If I were you I would see our link in picasa, the pictures are great!!
Barbacoa en casa de Mister B!!
Este sábado Bossida y su familia nos invitaron a una barbacoa en su casa. Fue fantástica, y la comida estaba deliciosa. Disfrutamos mucho del sitio, (tienen un jardín en la parte trasera de la casa muy grande, con árboles, flores,..muy bonito) de la comida, el vino, y sobre todo de la compañía. Estuvimos con su mujer Kata, su hija Marina y otra pareja de amigos, Monica y Dominique.
Nos lo pasamos bien, y desde aquí aprovechamos para daros las gracias por todo. Habrá que repetirlo!!
This Saturday, Bossida and his family invited us for a barbacue at his house. It was fantastic, full of meat, not suitable for vegetarians, everything was delicious. We loved their house, they have a beautiful, cozy garden in the backyard, we loved it even though the cool day. Good friends, good entertainment, good food, good spanish wine, all good. We were Bossida's wife, Kata, their daughter, Marina, two other Maria's friends, Monica and Dominique. Thanks very much for the lovely day we spent and we look forward to the next time.
Viernes noche!!!
Ayer por la noche nos fuimos con Sergio y Aaron a cenar por ahí y a tomar unas "pintillas". Estuvimos cenando en el Broadway, y la verdad es que cenamos muy bien. Luego, nos fuimos a uno de nuestros pubs favoritos, Ye Old Tripp, no sólo por el sitio en sí, sino por la variedad de cervezas locales que tienen. Pasamos una agradable velada y nos echamos unas cuantas risas juntos. Como siempre, os dejamos con unas fotillos.
Yesterday night we went out with Sergio and Aaron. We went for dinner to Broadway and the meals were very good. Later, we went to one of our favorite pubs, Ye Old Trip Jerusalem. We like it, not only because it is a good place to stay with your friends, but also, because of the excellent variety of English beers. We had a lovely time, fun and laughs.
