John's Barbacue!!!

Barbacoa en casa de John!!!

Este fin de semana nuestro amigo John nos invitó a una barbacoa en su casa. Nos hizo un día increible, calor, sol, cielo azul,......uno de esos dias que recordaremos por mucho tiempo. Por la mañana nos fuimos al supermercado a comprar la carne, ensaladas, pan y bebidas. Y una vez que cargamos el coche nos dirigimos a nuestro destino: una preciosa casa en la campiña inglesa, al lado de un bosque y muy cerca del rio Trent. Después de comer y jugar a las cartas nos fuimos a dar un paseo por el rio y recordarmos viejos tiempos jugando a balón prisionero. La verdad es que pasamos un dia muy muy agradable y descubrimos una parte de Nottingham que nos encantó. Como siempre os dejamos con unas fotillos de la barbacoa.



This weekend our friend John invited us a barbacue in his house. It was an amaizing day, warmed, sunny and blue sjy...one of those days we will remember for a long time. In the morning we went to the supermarket and we buy the food: meat, salads, bread and drinks. And once everything was loaded into the car we went to our final destination: a beautiful house in the middle of the english countryside, close to a forest and very near the Trent river. After having lunch and playing cards we went around for a walk and played dodgeball. We had a really really wonderful day and loved this part of Nottingham. As usual some pictures of the day.

CSR Group!!!

El Grupo de RSC!!!!

Hoy nos tocaba hacernos la foto oficial de toda la clase del Master de RSC, pero como teníamos que comprarla si quería tenerla y era muy formal, Matt trajo su cámara y el tripode y pudimos hacer las fotos de grupo como quisimos y además gratis!!! la verdad es que os puedo decir que éstas son mucha más divertidas!!!! os dejo con las fotos y asi podreis conocer a las personas más socialmente responsables que conozco!!! jajajajaja.......



Today was our oficial CSR group picture but as we had to buy it and also it was taken in a very formal way, Matt came with his camera and we took our own CSR group picture. It was really really fun and free!!! I leave you with some pictures and then you can see the most socially responsible people that I know!!! hahahaha....

Celebration of the last class of the Master!!!

Terminamos las clases del Master!!!

Por fin, hoy terminamos las clases del Master!!! aunque eso no supone que tengamos ya vacaciones, ni muchisimo menos, de hecho ahora empieza lo mejor.......todavía quedan por delante unos cuantros trabajos que entregar y los temidos exámenes!!!

Pero hoy nos merecíamos un descanso asi que nos fuimos todos por ahi a tomar algo para celebrar nuestro último día de clases!!!! la gran fiesta la dejaremos para el 4 de Junio que será nuestro último examen y entonces sí que lo celebraremos como se merece!!!!



Finally today was our last class of the Master!!!! although that does not mean we are on holidays!!! unfortunately we are not. In fact, we have to handle in some essays and do some exams!!!

But now it is time to celebrate our last class and therefore we went out to have a drink together. The big celebration will be on the 4th of June which will be the day of our last exam and then we will celebrate as we deserve!!!!

Study-Weekends at University Park!!!

Fines de semana de estudio en University Park!!!

Durante los próximos meses de Abril, Mayo y Junio nuestros fines de semana van a ser muy parecidos, y esperemos que muy productivos. Como buenos estudiantes durante todos estos dias la biblioteca se ha convertido en nuestra segunda casa, bueno en realidad tenemos dos segundas casas: de Lunes a Viernes estamos en Jubilee Campus y Sabados y Domingos nos vamos a University Park, asi cambiamos de aires, de biblioteca, de campus y de compañia para comer!!!!! Eso sí, lo bueno de los fines de semana son las comidas y el super roast beef ingles de los Domingos!!! aunque una paellica sentaría de maravilla!!!!! Bueno os dejo con unas fotillos para que veas como son nuestros fines de semana estudiantiles, ya queda menos!!!!!!



During the next three months: April, May and June, our weekends are going to be very similar...as good students the library is becoming our second house. In fact we have two second houses. From Monday to Friday our "second house" is in Jubilee Campus and for the weekends we go to University Park. In this sense, we study in different campus, libraries and also we have lunch with different people!!! In the weekends the food, above all the roast beef (or chicken, lamb or pork) is the best, although a Spanish paella would be great!!! As usual we leave you with some pictures and then you can see how our study-weekends are.....

Por fin!!!!

Finally!!!

Por fin, después de tres años y medio, pudimos irnos a esquiar. El lugar elegido para tan esperada y deseada ocasión fue Formigal. Todo el mundo nos había dicho que Formigal habia cambiado mucho en estos ultimos años, pero no nos lo creimos hasta que no llegamos alli!!! Madre mia que cambio, con deciros que en las taquillas pedimos un par de planos para no perdernos. Disfrutamos a tope, sobre todo el "bala" de mi chico, que se lo pasó en grande. Nos fuimos con mi padre, ya que era su primer dia de su nueva vida, jejeje... Lo único malo fue que no nos hizo muy buen dia, hacía bastante frio, estuvo cubierto y con niebla, con lo que a veces no había mucha visibilidad. Pero gracias a eso, la nieve aguantó todo el dia, igual que nosotros que fuimos de los últimos en marcharnos. Llegamos a casa cansadicos pero mereció muchisimo la pena.



Finally, after three years and a half we could go to ski. Formigal was the place for the wished ocasion. Everybody had told us that Formigal had changed a lot in the last years, but we did not believed until we arrived there. Oh my God what a difference!!! we have to tell you that we asked for a map, just in case we got lost. More than 100 km!!!! we enjoyed a lot, above all, my "bullet" boy who had great fun. My dad came along with us because it was his first day of his new pre-retired life, hehehehe......Unfortunately, the weather was not really good, it was cold, cloudy and foggy, so sometimes it was difficult to see. Although it did not really matter because thank to this weather the snow was practicable all day. We were the last ones to leave, we were so tired but very very happy.

Sorpresa!!!!

Surprise!!!

Queriamos dar una sorpresa a nuestros padres, así que cogimos nuestros bartulos y nos fuimos a nuestra querida Zaragoza. Nos vinieron a buscar al aeropuerto Victor y Ana y llegamos a casa de los padres de Maria donde habían quedado todos para cenar. No os podeis imaginar las caras tanto de Sebas como de Antonio cuando nos vinieron!!!! impresionantes!!! no sabían dónde estaban ni quiénes eran!!! y los dos tuvieron la misma reacción,.....Pero, qué hacéis vosotros aquí??????. Estuvo genial, nos echamos unas cuantas risas y encima cenamos de maravilla (si es que la comidita de mamá...). Después llamamos a nuestros amigos, ellos tampoco sabían na de na, y nos fuimos a tomar unas cervezas juntos. Ya nos queda menos para la próxima visita!!!



We wanted to surprise our fathers, therefore we packed our belongings and we flew to our lovely Zaragoza. Victor and Ana came to pick us up to the airport and we arrived to Maria's parents' because the family had met there for dinner. You can not imagine their faces when they saw us!!! unbelievable!!!! they did not know what was happening!!! and both of them act in the same way....but, what are you doing here????? It was really great, we had great fun and besides we had an amaizing and yummy spanish dinner!!!. After that, we phoned our friends, they did not know anything either, and we met to have some beers!!! we are looking forward for the next visit!!

CSR evening!!!

Cena con mis compis!!!

Ayer hicimos una merienda-cena internacional con mis compis del Master. La idea consitía en que cada uno tenía que hacer un plato tipico de su pais, podiá ser salado, o ensalada o postre. Yo hice una tortilla de patata (bueno en realidad la hizo Cesar, yo sólo pelé y corté las patatas) y como siempre estaba buenííííísima!!!! La verdad es que comimos muy bien, y muy variado, y los postres ayyy que postres!!!! yo veia chocolate por todas partes!!!!



Después de la cena, Matt y Joe nos deleitaron con su número particular, fue muy divertido!!!. La verdad es que nos lo pasamos genial (como siempre que estamos todos juntos), nos reimos mucho, y pasamos una velada estupenda. Pinchar aqui para ver mas fotos.



Yesterday it was our CSR event. The idea was to cook and bring a tipical dish or dessert from our country. I made a tortilla de patata, well, to be honest Cesar cooked it, I just only peel and cut the potatoes. As usual it was yummy!!! Everything was really good and we tried different dishes from everyone, and the deserts ohhh my God!!! they were delicious, I saw chocolate everywhere, it was like being in heaven!!!!.



After dinner, Matt and Joe made their show and it was fantastic!!! We had great fun and spent a lovely evening!!! Click here to see more pictures.
